Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of DiscountOS, our Shopify app, and any related services. By installing or using DiscountOS, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

1. The service

DiscountOS is a Shopify app that lets merchants create and manage discounts, including multi-offer, BOGO, volume, bundle, tiered, shipping, code-based, and automatic discounts, across the markets they sell in. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Free to use

DiscountOS is free. There is no subscription fee, trial limit, or usage cap for the app's features. If this ever changes, we will give clear notice in advance and never charge you without your consent.

3. Your account and store

• You must have a valid Shopify account and comply with Shopify's own terms.
• You are responsible for the discounts and promotions you configure and publish.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs through your store and account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to disrupt it, reverse engineer it, access it without authorization, or use it to violate any law or the rights of others.

5. Intellectual property

DiscountOS, including its software, design, and branding, remains our property. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other intellectual property except the limited right to use the app as intended.

6. Availability and support

We work to keep DiscountOS reliable and built on Shopify Functions so it runs on Shopify's infrastructure. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may perform maintenance or updates that briefly affect the service. Support is available by email from 03:30 to 18:00 UTC, seven days a week, and we are actively working to extend coverage.

7. Custom development and deployments

On request, we may build store-specific custom features or provide a dedicated, isolated deployment of the app for your store. Custom work is scoped and agreed in writing before it begins; dedicated deployments and bespoke development may carry fees, which are always quoted and accepted in advance. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, custom work is governed by these terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DiscountOS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. In all cases, our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim or, if greater, one hundred (100) US dollars.

10. Termination

You may stop using DiscountOS at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
